Founded in 1994 by Julien Ayache and led by Richard Bogatzky and Alexandre Rodrigues, 3Dsoft develops specialist software for the after-sales sector. Its primary tool, MecaPlanning, is now the global leader in scheduling, organisation and decision support software for car dealerships. MecaPlanning is now used by 25% of France’s dealership networks, with strong growth over the last five years.
3Dsoft also markets its products in nearly 37 countries worldwide, both directly and through distributors. To conduct its first external growth operation and complete its range of business products, bee2Link has been working with Bridgepoint Development Capital since the beginning of the year.
Following a competitive tendering process, the acquiree was assisted by Effective Capital to structure and complete the operation. At the helm of the company, chief executive Alexandre Rodrigues now has the task of integrating 3Dsoft’s solutions with the bee2Link range.
